MTN Foundation and Mantsopa Local Municipality

Mantsopa Local Municipality, MTN SA Foundation and Free State Development Corporation (FDC) entered into a public private Partnership (PPP) which commenced on 30 August 2009 in terms of which FDC agreed to render project management services for the business support centre at Mantsopa Local Municipality premises (Free State Province) on behalf of MTN SA Foundation.

MOU's signed include, but are not limited to:

Industrial Development Corporation (IDC)

FDC and IDC agreed to cooperate on the provision of operational and support skills including investment promotion and facilitation, project management, financial, negotiation and presentation and marketing and communication skills.

Technology Innovation Agency (TIA)

FDC and TIA agreed to cooperate on the implementation of the integrated regional innovation system strategy for the Free State which encompasses the identification of near- market projects, pipeline and high impact projects which could be jointly funded and supported through advisory services as well.

Bloemfontein Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)

FDC and BCCI agreed to communicate, share information and jointly participate on trade and investment missions and for FDC to effectively participate at BCCI events.

Southern Africa- Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (SANEC)

FDC and SANEC agreed to promote the development of bilateral relations between the Free State Province and the Netherlands by providing a platform to meet, discuss and explore business opportunities in trade, investment and the transfer of technology, services and products.

Senwes Limited and African Micro Mills (Pty) Ltd (AMM)

FDC agreed to pay the costs associated with conducting the feasibility study and assist in the overall successful establishment of the proposed project.
